Sweetener based on xylitol for foods, vegan. This xylitol was made from the original wood (FSC). To use like sugar (1:1). The manufacturer of this product is located in Finland. It attaches great importance to the fact that the amount of water and energy consumed in the production of xylitol is significantly lower than usual, which considerably reduces the amount of CO2 produced during production.

Restrictions: May not be used in beverages (other than liqueurs) intended for sale.

Notice: Falsely, xylitol is often referred to as a "Birkenzucker", although it is only obtained in small parts from birchwood. Mainly Buchenholz is used. Other sellers also call xylitol, which is made from corn, which may be allowed, but certainly not correct.

Please note: Xylitol powder tends to clump together - even when it is not moist. The clumps are very easy to crush and are, should you find any, no grounds for complaint. Can have a laxative effect if consumed to excess. Keep away from animals! Even small amounts of xylitol can be dangerous for dogs. Cats, on the other hand, tolerate xylitol without problems.
